Eucaliptos Massage Therapy is established massage salon offering specialty massages. This business, run by a licensed massage therapist, has a great reputation as a provider of maderotherapy, known as wood therapy. They needed a fresh website design that could turn their existing online presence into a powerful tool for showcasing their services, and drive leads and sales.

Project Overview
The Problem
When Eucaliptos Massage Therapy approach me, they went through an exciting rebrand that included a fresh brand strategy, logo and digital personality that needed to be captured in their new website. What they needed was help making their services more easily discoverable – in multiple languages. They needed a website ready to grow and expand with their operations.
The Goal
The goal was to create a visual experience that makes someone say “I want to try that!” We wanted to make a site that was as equally engaging as it was informative. The objective was to create clean, clear design that lets their work speak for itself and drive conversions.
My Role
My role was to create attractive and inviting web design, implement a fully responsive solution backed by WordPress CMS, and optimize their website for search engines.
My Responsibilities
My responsibilities included conducting user research, registering web domain, setting up WordPress environment, planning website design, ensuring responsive design, prototyping, developing sample site, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), testing cross-browser compatibility and iterating design based on client’s guidance.
Starting the Design
Eucaliptos Massage Therapy offers specialty massages and their website needed to convey that through content and design. I wanted to provide them with a website that went above and beyond their expectations, but still within their requested budget. I customized the Massage Spa PRO Grace Theme. This theme allowed for quick start and it supported our SEO strategies for its striking layout increasing user’s engagement and drive conversions.

Design Solutions & Results
The new Eucaliptos Massage Therapy website feels relaxing and inviting, and makes an immediate connection with its visitors. The site architecture and intuitive navigation makes it easy to find the right information at the right time. I worked with their color palette inspired by eucalyptus plant. The calming colors of their palette combined with relaxing images and typography are in contrast with red color used for buttons and key information. A soft, relaxing and inviting design supports their mission and builds a sense of trust prior to an in-person visit. Their new website is ready to grow and expand with their operations, and to drive their digital strategy.

What I Learned
Throughout this project, I learned the importance of research and communication. I learned that successful web design goes beyond aesthetics. It involves understanding client's expectations, empathizing with users, understanding their pain points, and incorporating features that align with their preferences. While working on this website, I experienced the importance of constant updates and open communication with the client. Each iteration pushed the results closer to our goal.
